Client partnership goals

Conarch means ‘Connecting Architecture’ – because it all has started in architect’s bureau, in Graubünden. A project manager during his work noticed various processes that involved a lot of bureaucracy. Inspired by these problems, he started with the basic idea of software. Now, direct access to the relevant building regulations documents for a parcel is available with just one click.

Project

Conarch is a web platform that manages information about parcels. No more delays caused by overlooking vital information – all data is available in one place.

Conarch stores documents from government and municipal websites – this way users don’t have to go through tons of scattered regulations and plans. The system combines maps with information about parcels, which makes is super-easy to find all the relevant data and required documents for permit for construction. Conarch is mostly used by architects, real estate developers, and lawyers, but basically, anyone can benefit from this web app.

Challenges we overcome

Simple and functional design, flawless functionality, and of course – genuine quality assurance – we combined thee to deliver this making-life-easier platform.

We had to translate the idea into a functional digital product. We had to keep it simple and clear, and make sure that it gets relevant content from three different locations. There was no need for Responsive Web Design, Conarch was intended for desktop use from the very start. The real deal was to connect maps with law regulation documents from over 50 different municipalities. And that’s what we did.

Solution

It may look really simple, but the thing is that all documentation (as well as the platform itself) is in German.

So, from the technical side – it was not a big challenge for our dev experts. But wrapping it up in German and conducting QA checks was not a walk in the park. Well, we always go beyond expectations and ensure that products we deliver are flawless and run smoothly. Thus, we did our best – and client’s satisfaction is a proof that our pros have no limits. See more about what we are able to craft here.

Results

Fully functional, simple, and clear platform for finding relevant law regulations and other crucial information about specific land parcels – all in German language. All of these available with one click – on a digital map. Bureaucracy is no longer an obstacle in the construction sector.

“The Human-App Interaction is something entirely new in comparison to other language learning tools. The most challenging part was to make this new approach obvious and intuitive for the end users.”

Team composition

Combining map API with law regulations storage is one thing – and our devs are experienced enough to not consider this as an obstacle. Ensuring it is all clear in German – that was more challenging, but we went smoothly through this one as well. With a dedicated team of experts anything is possible – that’s why we craft diamonds here.
